I was going to do a Christmas recap post, but to be honest I'm kind of sick of that holiday anyway. It has been unseasonably warm here for the time of year, not that I'm complaining, and even though these pictures are from the very beginning of winter, the weather today is the same if not warmer. By now there should be white covering everything and snow dunes two stories high lining the shore.
Tom and I frequent the lake a lot, but only when the weather is cooler for some reason. Probably because there are less people around. We go to take pictures even though we have pretty much exhausted the palette, but it's always a relaxing outing. The colors in poor weather always render much better than they would on a hot summer day. Not to mention that my indigo tights look best in this kind of light <3

I fear as though this is no longer the case! we finally had a snow storm last night, and even though it's really not bad out, it's still too much for me!
the weather has definitely been weird. it's usually freezing in san francisco but right now it's sunny. not that i'm complaining.
