Ya I tried it too...
I was tempted to go all out with a really cute outfit, but then I decided to stick with what was true! Most of the time I have on skinny jeans or a neutral skirt, boots, a basic top, and my knit motor cycle jacket. I added the scarf for color. If they had offered necklaces I would have used those instead of the scarf.
This is what I wish my hair looked like! I used to dress like this a lot too. I think I'll start doing this again. Maybe I'll even try a change with my hair <3

What Is Going On?!
Have you ever had a huge chunk of time fly right by in your life and all you get out of it is, "What just happened?" Well that's how I feel lately! I have no idea where the past two months went. And on top of that I ended up with an apartment in a town I didn't intend on living in. I'm not complaining by any means, but I do feel a bit perplexed. The only thing I do feel certain about is that I have way to much stuff. It's funny how I missed my belongings while they sat in storage for 6 months. But alas, unpacking boxes was not at all like the Christmas come early I had anticipated. The half year separation has opened my eyes to the fact that I was saving a bunch of crap! It is taking forever to get organized again, and to be honest I miss being able to pack everything up into a couple of suitcases. What's worse is that all this "stuff" has been keeping me from my blog and the store. I have barely had time to catch up with other blogs that I love so dearly. The positive note in all this is that I love the apartment I moved into and I officially had one sale at the DIM shop! Here are a couple of new items that I've recently added...
The first image with the black and gold necklace is the one I sold :) Obviously I'm pretty happy about it!
I am excited to have my desk back...well I will be once I get the pile of boxes off of it. I have new jewelry to make and a backup drive full of photos for the store. I would like to say that once I'm done feeling a bit baffled, that things are good.
I will be sharing some photos of the new space soon. It's an old warehouse converted to lofts type of deal. Very exciting!

p.s. Thank you to everyone who participated in the giveaway! I'll do more soon!

Give Away!
This is my very first blog give-away, so I hope I get some decent participation! In honor of the ongoing development of my online store D . I . M . I am giving away a handmade friendship bracelet. This particular bracelet was made with pink, black, cream, and light grey thread. It also has vintage black buttons with gold flower details woven into it.
It's a small giveaway, but it's super cute and trendy (see my previous ranting on the topic here). I will have more designs available here soon.
If you would like to enter the giveaway just do this:
-follow my blog on either Bloglovin' or with Google Friend Connect
-leave a comment below with your name an email so I can contact the winner
-like Mostly Clothes on Facebook and leave a comment for an extra entry!
Super simple! Since I am currently out of town and won't be back until next week, I'll except entries through next Tuesday. I'll select a winner on that day and email you. Good luck!
p.s. If this giveaway is successful I will do another one with one of these babies!
p.s.s This giveaway is open to international readers so anyone can join in!

I Really Don't Like To Be Cold
It's starting to get cold for real now, which means from this point on I'm going to be wearing sweaters on top of sweaters, mixed in with some poncho action and faux fur. I'm then going to top things off with wool socks over my tights! Ok so I probably won't wear all of that at once, but I will have at least two of these elements on my person at all times this winter (right now it's a sweater, tights, and wool socks). In order to paint a prettier picture than previously implied for you readers, I compiled a lovely cold weather ensemble from Piperlime to get my point across...I don't like to be cold! The only good thing to be said about being "not hot" is that you get to have fun with layers. Plus who doesn't like boots with a sweater cuff around the ankle <3

Nerd Alert!
This girl just found the coolest (and by coolest I mean dorkiest) Etsy shop ever! It's called Casstasstrophe and it's full of sci-fi jewelry wonders. These were some of my favorite pieces. I apologize to those of you who don't get the "Frak" or "Tardis" references, but even the most non-geeky girls out there have to admit that the pink atom necklace is totally geek-chic!

Baby Steps
This project is definitely pushing me to find some direction with my life. I am realizing that I have a lot I want to do and it takes more than sheer desire and hard work to get things done. I tend to be a "fly by the seat of my pants" type of girl and sometimes I really need to think more like the "two year plan" type of girl. Working hard and having passion is so important, but all the efforts don't get you anywhere when they're not on the same track. Here's to laying down some new tracks in the right direction!

Pleasantly Surprised
So it's that wonderful time of year when holiday catalogs start showing up in the mail and I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by what I received from Express.
They still managed to make some of the looks a little "clubish" but none the less I was impressed with their color blocking, the trendy sweater cuts and capes, and most of all the faux fur. I was so intrigued by this particular catalog that I found myself in the mall checking out the store, and I ended up going home with a sweater. For ladies on a budget, I have to recommend checking out Express's website for this holiday season.
Tip: Create a separate email account for shopping online. This way you can sign up for promo offers via email without clogging up your personal accounts. Holiday season is the perfect time of year for budget conscious shoppers to stock up on winter wardrobe staples.

It's A Start
Well it's a start...
I said I wanted the store live by the end of Oct. I also said it probably wouldn't happen! The way I see it, this is like a half win. I did get an Etsy store set up and I did managed to get a few vintage pieces online. I'm nowhere near done, but I feel pretty good so far.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts! I will be adding more and more goodies to the shop throughout the next couple of weeks and soon I'm doing a give away.
I really hope you guys like it <3
