While working on a recipe article for a local magazine, I realized it was also the perfect time to show off some colored denim. After all what goes better with red denim, a loose knit cream colored sweater, and casual acid-wash sneakers than some overnight oatmeal?
As the title of this post indicates, I also have a bright blue pair in my closet as well. I consider the red to be more casual and earthy and the blue to be a bit dressier and tougher. I'm not sure what food should be paired with them, but the styling won't disappoint!

I love how vibrant the red is yet still so casual. I'm still partial to my not quite neon but still pretty shocking pale lemon ones from PacSun. It still amazes me just how versatile the color ended up being..
I LOVE the oat color too. I think all earthy toned colors are good for colored denim. Even mustard yellow!
