Stranger In A Strange Land

I am back to brag about how awesome this winter has been. Last Friday, I had about an hour and half of beautiful sunlight to enjoy after getting out of work. Tom and I drove to the beach and discovered the most surreal setting I have ever experienced. I don't know if it was the brilliant pink light, or the unseasonably warm smell in the air, but when I stepped onto the shore and turned to see the suddenly foreign looking moon in the sky, I felt as though I had left and gone to another planet.

Fortunately, Tom is a prepared photographer so he was able to snap off some pictures of this amazing new world. I mentioned before that I have been obsessed with colored denim lately, so this was also a great opportunity to show off my blue pair. They were the perfect pant for this lighting wouldn't you say? I only wish that I had thought to take off my coat so that I could have shown off my new motorcycle jacket. This outfit would have fit the sci-fi exploration theme much better if I had done that!
